Scrum Master

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 2 days per week – subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Senior Scrum Master leads multiple agile teams, ensuring the effective application of Scrum practices to deliver high-quality products. This role involves coaching teams, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure smooth team operations.
Coaching & Mentorship: Guide teams and individuals in adopting agile principles, promoting self-organization, and enhancing team dynamics.
Impediment Removal: Identify and address obstacles hindering team progress, collaborating with stakeholders to find solutions.
Backlog Management Support: Assist Product Owners in refining and prioritizing the product backlog to align with business goals.
Agile Metrics Tracking: Monitor and report on team performance metrics like velocity and burndown charts to inform decision-making.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure alignment and share best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Foster an environment of learning and adaptation, encouraging teams to reflect and improve iteratively.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years in agile project management or as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record in leading multiple teams.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent; SAFe certification is a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks.
Proficiency in agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to influence and drive change within teams and the broader organization.
Desirable Attributes
Experience in scaling agile practices across multiple teams or departments.
Background in software development or IT project management.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
