Position Description:
CGI is looking for a SAP testing Expert to join it’s team.
Responsibilities :
Advise the client on test framework and methodology, including an estimation of effort, duration, resources required and key assumptions and dependencies
Translate the client software development life cycle into a suitable test approach for functional and non-functional requirement verifications
Implement the proper test automation to deliver benefits for the client
Monitor the ongoing testing and adjusts as required to optimize
Support in or owns overall design of the test environment and the ongoing management strategy, including test data solutions or tools in line with good industry practices
Key Competencies
-SAP Activate delivery knowledge a big asset
-Consulting skills, e.g. problem solving, for instance to understand the client’s challenges and translate this in how to assist
-Good understanding of testing, delivery models, configurations and release management
-Testing process improvement, e.g. TMMI, TPI
-Knowledge of estimation and planning for testing
-Broad level of knowledge of enterprise (e.g. Tricentis TOSCA, Microfocus UFT) and open source (e.g. Robot Frameworks, Selenium) testing tools
Use of the term ‘architect’ in this job posting refers to the technical sense related to Information Technology (IT) and does not imply that the individual practices architecture or possesses the requisite license as prescribed by the applicable provincial or territorial architect regulator. We are seeking individuals with expertise in IT architect-related functions, but licensure from an architect regulator is not a prerequisite for this position. Architecture is a regulated profession in Canada which is restricted in terms of use of titles and designation.
