We’re looking for a SAP-Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Functional Consultant who will be responsible for supporting and fine tuning the current IBP design (Demand, S&OP, Integration with other systems). The role will involve support, analysis, design, configuration, and application scenario testing/implementation in various functional areas.

Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Support the current IBP design by providing resolutions to tickets raised by users. It is a customized environment with focus around Demand, S&OP and integration with other systems
  • Maintenance of business-critical application jobs and scheduling, including key support for the execution of supply heuristics and outbound interfacing
  • Implement changes to the design as needed, by working with various stakeholders including the Business, IT, ABAP and integration (CI-DS) team etc.
  • Identify potential opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions utilizing IBP features, development of POCs.
  • Compile functional specifications and other documentations.
  • Support SAP-IBP upgrade cycles.

Must be located in Calgary or willing to relocate to Calgary.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 2 years of IBP experience, with focus on Demand/S&OP and custom designs.
  • Strong knowledge of supply and demand planning processes, APO experience in Demand/SNP is an added advantage
  • Strong skills in understanding & setting up key figures, calculation logics, desegregations etc, forecasting models and preprocessing steps, working knowledge of versions/scenarios, process flows & tasks.
  • Ability to configure IBP supply chain networking


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • CI-DS and good understanding of integrating/interfacing IBP with other tools (SAP/non-SAP)
  • Experience with Oil & Gas industry
