PySpark AWS Developer

Position Description:

CGI is seeking a PySpark AWS Developer to work with a highly skilled team on the newest technologies. This position is located in Atlantic Canada and can work in any of the Atlantic CGI Offices in a Hybrid model.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers.
Follow engineering best practices and take pride in it.
Agile Ceremonies – Participate and Contribute
Applications Development – Analysis, Design & Development
Testing & Support
QE Testing
Volume Testing
Implementation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

At least 8+ years of experience in:
Full Stack Engineering practice – Designing, developing, deploying & testing
Hands on experience with PySpark and Python
Hands on experience with AWS Services – S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue, Step functions, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudwatch alarms, VPC, Terraform.
Hands on experience with Oracle//Dynamo DB
Knowledge of TDD with at least unit test automation.
Experience with CICD tools – GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
