ETL Tester

Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SQL, test automation, and continuous integration/deployment tools. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage test environments, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.

This is a hybrid role expecting you to be in office 3 times a week – subjected to change anytime.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Database Management:
o Utilize SQL or any database querying language to manage and manipulate data efficiently.
o Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance.
• Test Automation:
o Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various test automation frameworks.
o Implement and execute automated test cases to ensure software quality.
• Version Control and CI/CD:
o Work with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
o Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
o Employ Robot Framework for automated testing.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
o Conduct UAT to validate the functionality and performance of the software.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the software meets business requirements.
• Test Environment Management:
o Set up and maintain test environments to support testing activities.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test environments.
• Deployment Tools:
o Use deployment tools to manage software releases and updates.
o Ensure smooth deployment processes and minimize downtime.
• Test Planning and Strategy:
o Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
o Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have Skills:
1. Proficiency in SQL or any database querying language.
2. Knowledge of test automation frameworks.
3. Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, and Robot Framework.
4. Experience in performing UAT.
5. Strong understanding of test environments.
6. Familiarity with deployment tools.
7. Solid understanding of test planning and strategizing.
Good to Have Skills:
1. Knowledge of data layers.
2. Understanding of regulatory reporting and data sourcing processes.
