This is an exciting time for CGI, and we want you to be part of it. We are Canada’s largest independent information technology services firm, and we are still growing! We are expanding in Atlantic Canada, and we need your skills, enthusiasm, and dedication as part of our team.

This hybrid role is based at any CGI Atlantic location (we will soon have offices in all 4 provinces!) and requires eligibility for Reliability Clearance from the Canadian government. This requires candidates to have lived in Canada for 5+ years or already have obtained Reliability Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong proficiency in Python and data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning).
• Experience in data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Ability to work with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with cloud platform Azure for data storage and model deployment.
• Understanding of A/B testing, statistics, and probability.
• Knowledge of NLP, deep learning, and time series forecasting is a plus.
