Be a team; we are united to drive collective impact to achieve our goals.   Position We are currently hiring an intern looking for a winter term position, January to April 2026.  Candidates must be in an undergraduate or graduate program that will be returning to school after the internship to be eligible to apply.   Located in our Toronto or Winnipeg office, the IT Risk team is critical part of IG Wealth Management / Mackenzie Investments (IGM Financial).  Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Services, the Intern candidate’s core responsibilities will include:   Primary focus will be on ad-hoc projects or support of organizational projects in-flight Create documentation (how-to guides, communications, procedures, etc.) Analysis of documents (vendor and internal), datasets, logs, etc. Write threat intelligence briefs based on security events disclosures in the news media, and research impact of newly discovered information security publications   The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:   Enrolled in a post-secondary education program in a relevant technology discipline or designation/certification, or bring transferable skills and general knowledge of technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and delivering presentations with impact Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization and organizational abilities Demonstrable experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, advanced functionality), and PowerPoint Passion and interest in Technology, IT Risk, and Cybersecurity preferred Proven collaboration and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams   To apply, please include a resume and transcripts (full unofficial version) by October 5, 2025, at 11:59 pm CST.   IGM is a diverse workplace committed to doing business inclusively - this starts with having a representative workforce!
