Position Description:
CGI is looking for a Solutions Architect with Guidewire experience to join a project team at one of our clients in the insurance sector.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•Design, draft, and modify solution architecture documents;
• Assist users in clarifying operational needs concerning the application;
• Evolve the architecture of existing systems based on user needs;
• Participate in the evaluation of application components and in planning their development (budgetary impact and timeline);
• Ensure the coherence and integrity of solutions in accordance with enterprise architecture;
• Provide support for impact analysis, risk and benefit identification;
• Support the project team regarding solution architecture and collaborate closely with enterprise, solution, software, and security architects from the delivery teams;
• Participate in the evaluation of systemic solutions considering necessary contingencies according to the architecture level (target, preliminary, detailed);
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the roadmap, as well as the tracking of inter-portfolio dependencies;
• Identify and submit to the management team any element that may impact the budget or schedule;
• Develop communication plans for stakeholders at all levels, as needed.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including 6 years in a similar role;
• • Solid experience with Guidewire Cloud products, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Important asset: Possess the GW ACE (Mammoth) certification and/or have a good understanding of the property insurance field;
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts.
