Position Details:
The Vice President, Private Wealth Management role is primarily focused on coaching top performing Advisors who are members of Private Wealth Management in the acquisition of high-net-worth clients and practice management strategies to drive efficiency and sustainability. A secondary focus is to work closely with Area Senior Vice President’s on area initiatives that drive advisor productivity and results.
Responsibilities:
- PWM Advisor Development
- Design and implement tailored development plans for top-performing advisors, with a focus on enhancing practice growth and overall productivity.
- PWM Team Engagement & Support
- Conduct regular engagements with PWM teams to uncover growth opportunities and proactively address challenges that may hinder practice success.
- High Net Worth Client Acquisition
- Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Area Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs) to identify high-potential advisors and drive initiatives aimed at acquiring significant high net worth clients.
- Strategic Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and contribute to area-wide strategic initiatives that promote advisor productivity and professional development.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- CFP designation or equivalent certification
- 10+ years of experience in sales or business management within financial services or a related industry
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong knowledge of advanced financial planning concepts and ability to deliver complex financial plans
- Proficiency with IG Wealth Management Practice Management tools
- Excellent analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- In-depth understanding of the financial services industry and competitive landscape
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
Bilingualism (oral and written) in French and English is required to support clients and PWM teams within the province of Quebec.
