Introduction

Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R) is a set of integrated business processes within the Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP system that encompasses the entire accounting cycle from recording financial transactions to producing financial reports.

 As an Oracle Record-to-Report (R2R) consultant, your role revolves around configuring, implementing, and optimizing the R2R processes within Oracle ERP systems.

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

An R2R functional consultant should have a strong background in:

·         Oracle Fusion Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP modules relevant to R2R processes, including General Ledger (including Allocations and Elimination rules), Fixed Assets, Intercompany and Cash Management.

·         Good to have knowledge on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable

·         Oracle fusion knowledge on Roles, privileges etc.

·         Reporting skills in OTBI, BIP, FRS

·         Agile framework

·         Business process improvement

·         Strong interpersonal and consultative skills

·         Strong analytical skills

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and configuring Oracle Cloud Financials
  • Strong expertise in AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management processes, including invoicing, payment processing, asset management, and Cash management.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) certification in Oracle Financials is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
