Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto/ client office at a minimum 2 days per week – subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior OpenText Forms Developer with expertise in LiquidOffice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electronic forms and workflow solutions within the OpenText platform. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering seamless digital solutions.
• Create and customize electronic forms using OpenText LiquidOffice.
• Develop user-friendly, responsive, and accessible forms that align with business requirements.
• Design and implement automated workflows to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Integrate LiquidOffice workflows with external systems and applications.
• Manage and maintain the OpenText LiquidOffice environment, including updates and patches.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure system reliability and performance.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to users as needed.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of experience in OpenText Forms development, with at least 2 years specializing in LiquidOffice.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying complex forms and workflows in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in LiquidOffice Designer and related OpenText tools.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and CSS for form customization.
• Experience with integration technologies (e.g., APIs, web services).
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and query development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have:
• Experience with OpenText Content Server or other OpenText solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based deployments and environments.
• Certification in OpenText or related technologies is a plus.
