Position Description:

This is a central and dynamic position in the Control Framework Supervision (CFS) department’s technology team that supports compliance applications built in house. You will have the chance to join a cross-functional team that is spread across multiple locations (AMER & Asia) supporting compliance business partners in AMER region. Currently, the team’s focus is working on legacy compliance applications that are being migrated to public cloud to offer a better solution/service and reduce costs. WHAT WILL BE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY? Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -Perform data analysis, liaise with business and IT teams to initiate, and drive project requirements, manage backlog prioritization and delivery.-Perform UAT and understand databases, perform basic queries, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems.-Handle product owner responsibilities, challenge requirements, negotiate with stakeholders and achieve agreement.-Understand compliance and regulatory needs of the bank and contribute to the design and architecture meetings of compliance applications.-Take ownership of critical projects and drive Operating and Steering committee meetings.-Coordinate with the global teams (AMER & Asia) and drive project priorities.-Coordinate with the production support team in resolving L3 production issues.-Lead project sprints, scrum meetings and release meetings with the different stakeholders. Profile SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Must Have: -3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.-Good understanding of technology behind banking applications.-Good understanding of infrastructure, web applications, Unix and windows OS, knowledge on public cloud web applications etc.-Problem solving and ability to discuss solutions with non-technical stakeholders.-Project Management skills and experience.-Scrum master/Product owner experience and JIRA task management.-Previous work experience in JAVA based banking applications and cloud technologies. -SQL and Big Data databases. -Experience dealing with large volumes of data and data analysis.-Excellent communication skills: ability to manage stakeholder relationships and partnership.-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or another related field. Nice to Have: -Project experience in Microsoft Azure.-LANGUAGES: English, French Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
