As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will help CGI deliver excellent end-to-end solutions either within ServiceNow or between ServiceNow and other integrated applications. You will have deep experience with analyzing and translating business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, roadmaps, and actionable plans while possession knowledge in modern development methodologies, technical governance processes, and ServiceNow best practices.
This position is open for any of our Western Canada locations: Victoria BC, Vancouver BC, Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Regina SK or Winnipeg MB.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate the underlying business goals of the client;
• Architect, design, implement and integrate ServiceNow solutions that not only meet the clients’ specific business needs, but also are intuitive and easy to maintain and customize;
• Work closely with customers to understand the business direction, define the solution and present the solution design and architecture aspects to the client through presentations and Daily/Weekly discussions;
• Lead the design, development, testing, roll out and support of innovative ServiceNow solutions, including mentoring other ServiceNow team members;
• Deal with a broad range of old and new technologies with the skills to recognize and exploit the advantages of both;
• Develop plans to migrate from the existing application to the target one within ServiceNow;
• Understand and advocate the ITIL principles, approaches and standards across teams internally and externally;
• Work in multi-functional environments, providing technical advice and expertise and guidance to key stakeholders according to industry best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow;
• At least seven (7) years working experience in the information technology sector;
• Solid understanding of enterprise and solution architecture concepts, values, and software development methodologies;
• Possess broad range of technical knowledge (e.g. applications, enterprise technology, infrastructure, and telecommunications) and systems experience in multiple platforms;
• Work experience as a Developer, System Administrator, Implementor, or Application Specialist;
• One or more ServiceNow certifications would be an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills including the ability to clearly articulate ideas to technical and business audiences;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• A drive for success and to help others achieve their goals;

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range in British Columbia is $85,000 – $160,000.
