Full Stack Software Developer

Position Description:

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Software Developers at the level to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a diverse skillset in various technologies including cloud and with extensive experience in modern technologies and frameworks.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Software developer your responsibilities will be:
• You will be a key member of the Application engineering team.
• Collaborating and actively engaging with all team members
• Work as part of an agile team to develop user interfaces using the Angular framework.
• Develop frontend code using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML per UX designs in Figma.
• Develop backend services for an AWS-based cloud-native Web application – including serverless APIs, messaging components, and data streaming pipelines.
• Deliver high quality front-end and backend code along with automated unit tests to comply with SonarQube quality gates.
• Design and develop integration solutions with external REST APIs.
• Collaborate with UX Designers, Architects, Product owners, to implement full stack web application. and DevOps resources to determine the right development and implementation approach to fulfill requirements.
• Deliver high quality code, including automated tests.
• Document and present designs. Conduct solution demos and walkthroughs.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of experience developing front-end solutions using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML5.
• 2+ years with AWS services such as AWS ECS, AWS Fargate, AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS Cognito, AWS AppSync, AWS DynamoDB and AWS RDS
• Experience integrating with backend services using REST API as well as GraphQL endpoints.
• Skilled with development of automated tests using Jasmine, Karma, Mocha and related technologies.
• Experienced with developing and deploying frontend solutions in AWS environments.
• Familiar with SSO using OIDC Connect and OAuth 2.0.
• Proficient with building secure REST APIs as well as integrating with RESTful endpoints as well as messaging-based systems.
• Experienced with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, Docker, Containers.
• Proficient with standard security technologies and practices – SSO, OIDC Connect, OAuth 2.0, encryption, etc.

• Experience in using UX designs from FIGMA is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills (technical descriptions and diagramming, escalation, written, in-person, adaptive as appropriate to the audience, etc.).
• “Strong opinions, lightly held” – Willingness to own, research, and argue your points of view, bring new ideas to the table, but deliver according to consensus and expectations.

Required Level of Education (include certifications):
• University or Technical Diploma in IT discipline with equivalent experience.
• Formal Certification with AWS will be nice to have.
