In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
- Design and implement data models, data governance policies, and data quality processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across the organization
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures data availability, security, and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA
- Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends
Required education
Bachelor’s Degree

Required technical and professional expertise
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Salesforce
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, data governance, and data quality processes
- Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with data science and machine learning technologies such as Python, R, or TensorFlow
- Certification in Salesforce Data Architecture or related field
