Position Description:
CGI Montreal is seeking a Full Stack Specialist with a passion for Generative Artificial Intelligence to take part in high-impact technology projects. You will help design and develop data platforms and full stack applications that integrate advanced generative AI capabilities, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop full stack distributed systems with data science and generative AI components
• Participate in the architectural design of solutions involving generative AI models
• Transform machine learning and LLM prototypes into robust, production-ready applications
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for model training and inference
• Ensure the quality, security, and performance of delivered solutions
• Collaborate closely with data science teams to operationalize AI solutions
• Build intuitive user interfaces to interact with generative AI services
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration of generative AI models

Required Profile
• Master’s or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development, data engineering, and AWS environments
• Expertise in Python and C# for backend development
• Proficiency in modern front-end technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Solid understanding of AWS services: Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, RDS
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, monitoring, and security in cloud environments
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken

Specific Skills in Generative AI
• Experience integrating APIs for Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and instruction chaining
• Design and deployment of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Expertise in LangChain or similar frameworks for Agentic AI
• Implementation and management of vector databases
• Development of user interfaces enabling interaction with AI models
• Ability to implement guardrails and AI safety mechanisms
• Token management and cost optimization when using LLMs

• AWS certifications (Architect, Developer, or DevOps)
• Experience deploying and managing large-scale AI models
• Knowledge of real-time data streaming frameworks
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques and machine learning
• UX design experience for AI-powered applications
