Oracle is multinational software corporation that develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations.

Since 2013 our Oracle practice has nurtured the careers of our new graduates from entry level independent consultants to roles in leadership positions. You will have support from multiple years of previous new graduates who have grown their careers within the IBM Oracle practice and can provide mentorship.

Our Oracle practice offers both technical and functional career paths.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a member of our team, you will help IBM clients solve some of their most challenging business problems, capitalize on market opportunities and achieve real value in today’s tough economy.

As an Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Configuring and implementing Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management solutions for clients
  • Designing and developing custom workflows and integrations to meet client needs
  • Providing training and support to clients on Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management best practices
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management
  • Collaborating with clients to identify business requirements and design solutions to meet those needs


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Candidates must:

  • Have graduated no earlier than 2022, and will be graduating no later than 2024.
  • Have an Associate’s Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree by date of employment.
  • Exception: This program does not accept MBA or PhD candidates/graduates.
  • Have no more than 2 years of full-time professional related work experience.
  • ​​​​​​​Be eligible to work in Canada without current or future needs for visa sponsorship.
  • ​​​​​​​Be willing and able to live and work in Calgary, with minimal travel anticipated.
  • Must be eligible for clearance and have lived in Canada for 5 – 10 years.

Technical Expertise:

  • You have the ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers.
  • You have strong excel skills and enjoy making meaningful evaluations of a given set of data (tables, excel files etc.).
  • You enjoy working in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks.
  • You enjoy working with the public and have demonstrated excellent customer experience skills.
  • You will have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and executives.
  • You have the ability to learn new processes, coach and direct team members.
  • You enjoy problem solving and delivering innovative solutions to complex problems that address client needs.
  • You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and/or architectures.
  • You have basic knowledge or hands on coding experience in one or more of the following technology areas: Java, Python, SQL.
