Do you know who some of Canada’s top diversity employers are? We’ve got a list of 3 employers that are hiring NOW!   

Employers:

 

RBC is more than just a bank. Did you know that RBC supports new moms with maternity leave top-up payments? They also have a Global Emerging Leadership Program that features a series of rotations for those who have demonstrated leadership qualities.  

Dana Drover, manager of the Aberdeen Avenue branch in St. John, says she received a lot of training, mentoring and development programs which helped her get to where she is today.  

They also have 2 new programs, Women in Leadership and Executive Women’s Peer Network to give women the opportunity to get mentorship and move up in the company. 

 

 

It isn’t hard to see why one of Women in Leadership’s partners made this list! Shell Canada is one of Canada’s leading corporate donors and supports ~700 charitable initiatives. They also have several professional development program like their 14 week career development program to help female employees achieve personal and professional goals as well as a leadership program for women in senior positions.  

 

Deloitte has become known as being a top employer in Canada, and it’s not hard to find out why! Deloitte supports new mothers with maternity leave top-up payments and even daycare subsidies when women are ready to return to work. They also provide mentorship programs for those with disabilities, women, minorities, LGBTQ and those new to Canada. 

Also a cool fact: Maddie Buttinger has been able to train full-time for the Olympics with financial backing from the company who is holding her position for when she returns.
