We’re expanding our presence in Vancouver, BC, and looking for passionate and driven developers to join our team. As a Junior/Intermediate AEM Developer, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team responsible for building and maintaining AEM-based web applications. You’ll work closely with senior developers and mentors, contribute to meaningful projects, and grow your technical capabilities while delivering client-focused solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of AEM websites
• Help implement and update AEM components, templates, and other building blocks
• Support site enhancements, bug fixes, and content updates
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Learn and apply best practices for responsive and accessible web design
• Maintain documentation and contribute to user help guides and technical references

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AEM development
• Familiarity with AEM best practices using: HTL (Sightly), Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS Sling and JCR repository concepts Component and template development in AEM
• Understanding of front-end development and modern frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React, Angular)
• Experience with version control systems (Git, BitBucket, or similar)
• Enthusiasm to learn AEM architecture, workflows, and tools

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with RESTful APIs and service integrations
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Understanding of Agile development practices

Education

• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field is preferred
• Adobe Certified Expert (AEM) certification is an asset (but not required)

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licensure and certification. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range in British Columbia is $65,000 – $130,000.
