Position Description:

As the Senior Consultant, Strategic Planning Programs, your marketing and project management expertise will help support CGI’s leaders with shaping the annual business plans for one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting services firms. CGI has two major annual strategic planning programs: Voice of Our Clients and Voice of Our Members. You will be engaged in both programs and other strategic planning team initiatives but will be primarily responsible for supporting the Voice of Our Members (VOM) program which solicits the inputs of over 90,000 employees as part of the firm’s annual planning process. You will also be the lead point of contact with the Communications team across all strategic planning content, working with the VP and others to create and/or share content that helps leaders connect planning to their local actions; enabling members to see the value of their inputs.

In this role you will also run some deliverables for the annual leadership conference as well as supporting Voice of Our Clients program. The Senior Consultant is part of a global team and reports to the Director, Strategic Planning Programs.

The Senior Consultant, Strategic Planning Programs acts as the global project manager for the Voice of Our Members stakeholder engagement program and ensures the program is delivered on time and to scope; that all materials and communications are delivered to a high standard; develops and shares insights and content based on the Member inputs; and ensures all internal stakeholders are regularly informed about program status based on the governance approach for the program.

This role also supports the business units and corporate functions with their VOM consultation training, reporting, and analytics needs. The Senior Consultant also supports the Director and others in the team in the development and delivery of the program tools and reporting capabilities. To achieve the expected outcomes in support of our business leaders, the Senior Consultant acts in a hands-on role and partners closely with a community of 75+ business unit contacts as well as Corporate Services teams, notably HR, Communications, and CIO.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Global program support and project management
•Producing, maintaining and reporting on the end-to-end VOM program project plan
•Providing weekly status reports for the Director and VP in partnership with other team members.
•Providing regular internal stakeholder communication when appropriate, to keep the respective internal collaborators informed
•Supporting the design and delivery of a multi-year technology roadmap that evolves the tools that support the program, in collaboration with the team, CIO, HR, and development resources. Your role will include capturing and analyzing feedback from stakeholders, helping document the business requirements, providing internal training and change management.
•Supporting the Director, the programs team, and internal partners to coordinate all business aspects of the tool and reporting delivery on time, scope and in line with expectations
•Develops and manages all aspects of the UAT training program for VOM tools and reporting
•Supporting the Director on governance, including coordination of a global community of contacts and partners to ensure alignment, track progress, and provide visibility and proactive management of potential risks
•Manages the VOM targets and progress tracking on a weekly basis for planning community calls, executive awareness, and other needs. Works with the development team and others to evolve, test, and deploy the tracking reporting on an annual basis.
•Supporting Voice of Our Client Program deliverables when required. This may include the production of interview materials, content development, UAT of tools and reporting, Leadership Conference logistics and other tasks.
Analysis and content creation
•Supporting the Director, VP, and HR leaders on the annual evolution of the consultation questionnaire, including writing of questions & site content, and managing the network of translators, approvers, and others to ensure all content is accurately delivered for development
•Working closely with the Communications team and their network on the drafting, reviewing, and coordination of approvals (with VP and senior executives) for all internal communications campaigns and content related to the VOM consultation.
Consulting
•Acting as an internal consultant to the Operations Support Leads, Director, and VP to help evolve the best approach to planning, producing, delivering, and analyzing the VOM program

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

5+ years of relevant experience
•the candidate will be an excellent project manager.
•marketing communications skills and savvy.
•Good communication skills in English and French.
•comfortable with data and analysis.
•This role requires someone who is self-motivated, provides considered input and ideas, is a strong communicator, and is able to work credibly with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
