Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at client’s office, at a minimum 1-2 days per week – subject to change at any time.

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and supporting or performing some user acceptance testing.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Evaluating business processes (current state), anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions (future state).
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team
• members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
• Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Supporting and/or performing user acceptance testing.
• Support projects management including developing project plans, resourcing and budget management and monitoring performance.
• Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Commerce, and/or related field or an MBA.
• 5+ years of experience in IT environment as a Business Analysis or related field.
• Direct experience with Fenergo (FenX or FenE platforms)
• Knowledge of, and/or experience in Financial Services/Banking Capital Markets domain
• Knowledge of, and/or experience with client lifecycle management, client data management and client onboarding related to financial services.
• Proven track record supporting large, complex IT programs in enterprise environments.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile), principles and processes, and lifecycle.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills and excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, and offshore/onshore resources.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (e.g. MS Excel, MS SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)

Certifications (preferred but not required):
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or similar certifications
• SAFe, or Agile certifications
