This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown office in Toronto and/or Client office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

1. Solid experience in project management, SDLC, agile software development.
2. Ability to independently apply most Professional, Leadership and CGI Specific competencies as outlined in the PM Career Path Guidelines
3. Maintain overall control of the schedule and the delivery of all expected deliverables
4. Prepare the management deliverables (e.g. project plan, work plan, management reviews, request for changes, outstanding issues and risks) and seek approval when necessary
5. Notify the Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or Project Director of any issues and submit recommendations to resolve these issues
6. Take-action on issues of non-compliance in quality and ensure all project products are in accordance with quality standards
7. Manage project/ program cadences and governance and maintain ongoing contact with the client project manager and ensure ongoing close work relationship
8. Communicate plans, responsibilities and status to project stakeholders
9. Manage and communicate all outstanding issues, risks and decisions and change requests
10. Perform or guide the role of configuration manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for configuration management are followed and that the Change Control Board (CCB) performs as specified
11. Perform or guide the role of requirements manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for requirements management are followed
12. Maintain program and projects tracking records , meeting minutes , RACI updates , action items log , Risk log , issue log , critical communication , status reporting, milestone status ..etc.
13. Track and maintain Projects/program financials such as actuals, budget forecast, claim codes , POs, payments and invoicing logs.
14. Supervise procurement management activities (submit PO requests, licensing orders, follow up orders , procurement escalations …etc.)
15. Ensure that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff are competent in procedures applicable to their roles
16. Supervise applications release management and negotiate priorities with the client and key internal and external stakeholders
