Responsibilities:

Gain both business and technical knowledge, that is required to compete assigned tasks and define/implement solutions that meet business requirements
Investigates system issues to help determine the cause and solution options
Liaises with business stakeholders to understand their business objectives and solution requirements
Collaborates with other technology team members to understand problems and formulate solutions
Authors system documentation to support solution development, and testing
Authors instructional documentation to improve the team’s internal processes
Hands-on configuration of systems may be required (i.e. SAP ECC, ServiceNow, JIRA)

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: 
IG Wealth Management Inc. is an investment dealer registered in all Canadian jurisdictions with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO).  As a securities dealer, we offer a broad range of investment products including equities, fixed income, money market instruments and mutual funds to support gathering and consolidating assets within IG Wealth Management Inc..  Trade Centre supports account inquiries and registered trade activity on behalf of our internal and external clients.      
 
POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Senior Specialist supports clients, Portfolio Strategists and advisors through the accurate and efficient execution of trades through their broad knowledge on products, services, procedures and regulatory requirements of the company and the industry.  There is one position that will be filled in Montreal or Winnipeg.
 
DUTIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for the professional servicing of in-coming telephone and email contacts from clients, Portfolio Strategists, Advisors and other internal departments
Complete suitability assessment of orders and help client with KYC completion and or update
Accurately executes client trades ensuring the adherence to industry and company regulations
Maintains up-to-date knowledge on the industry and company policies, products and procedures
Upholding ethical and professional requirements as an CIRO registrant
Participates in special projects and assignments
Completion of educational requirements to maintain registration proficiency

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED: Currently licensed as Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO or as Investment Representative (IR) and willing to become a RR within 90 days from the start date.
REQUIRED: Bilingual (English and French)
Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry
Post-secondary education in a related field
Strong oral communication skills
Proven problem solving methodology
Accuracy, attention to detail and organization skills required

 
Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and Team members within and/ or outside the province of Quebec.
