The Senior Integration Architect works closely with Provincial Identity Information Management (IDIM) Program partners, clients and management team as an advocate of the Provincial IDIM Program services.   In this role you will provide expertise and oversight in the role of integration with Identity Management products and solutions in support of Ministry or government strategic and operational goals. Organizes, and manages projects concerned with the integration of new infrastructures and services that will support the business applications and data resources of the ministry or government, and devises ways to efficiently share common services and technology components in a secure environment. 

The successful candidate would have strong communication and organization skills as well as being a team player who is willing and able to be adaptable and flexible. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate architecture and design discussions with partner and client subject matter experts, and may occasionally be required to present as subject matter expert in workshops, seminars or conferences on the topic of Identity Management.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in the computer science field; OR
  • An equivalent amount of experience may be considered.
  • Experience working with of all aspects of application development using a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern Software Engineering practices. 
  • Experience working with project management methodology and IT change management processes.
  • Experience working with both project management processes and techniques. 
  • Experience building long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating and presenting in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising staff and providing technical advice to work teams.
     

Preference may be given to candidates with one or more of the following: 

  • Experience working in a senior role in a technical environment.
  • Experience working in an IDIM related position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in any of the following areas:
    • Knowledge of Identity Management policies, concepts & best practices.
    • Knowledge of Single Sign-On, Federation Products (such as SiteMinder, ADFS and KeyCloak), and authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth2 and Open ID Connect (OIDC)
    • Knowledge of government privacy & security policies and issues.
