Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Compilation Technology team, located at the IBM Toronto Lab in Markham Ontario, is looking for an offering manager to join our mission to deliver leading-edge compiler offerings on IBM Z and Power platforms. The IBM Toronto Lab is the compilation hub within IBM, known for developing world-class compilers and runtimes. You will be working alongside technical and business experts and play a key role in the success of Compiler offerings.

IBM Offering Managers define, develop and deliver differentiated offerings that focus on winning in markets and delivering business values and iconic user experiences. They collaborate with cross-discipline teams on development, design, marketing, communications and sales to deliver the most innovative offerings and business values to our clients.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is also a creative team player with strong leadership and communication skills. Business skills to execute on market-driven strategies to deliver offerings that drive customer success in general would also be required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on market exploration & research, user personas definition, developing go to market plans, data analysis activities, and product ownership.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
  • Demonstrated leadership and Critical thinking abilities
  • Proven team, presentation, and writing skills
  • Intermediate to advanced levels in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Prior experience in offering or product management roles
  • Experience in business management, market research, business plans development, or go to market activities
  • Knowledge of IBM z/OS, Z hardware or Compilers
