The BC Human Rights Tribunal [Tribunal] is an independent quasi-judicial Tribunal established by the Human Rights Code [Code] to provide dispute resolution services in human rights matters. JOB OVERVIEW

The Documents and Freedom of Information Specialist [Specialist] maintains the Tribunal’s documents in accordance with its Records and Information Management [RIM] policy, including classification, storage, security, inventory, retrieval and destruction of records, and serve as the Tribunal’s Records Manager under that policy. The Specialist also manages a caseload of sometimes complex and contentious FOI requests for the Tribunal, providing timely responses to freedom of information (FOI) requests. The Specialist also analyzes, develops, and improves information access policies, procedures and processes.

Questionnaire: YES – You will need to complete a comprehensive questionnaire to demonstrate how you meet the job requirements.
