Position Description:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineering Specialist to lead and optimize IT operations and infrastructure with a focus on automation, multi-platform environments, and cloud technologies. This role requires a strong technical background in managing diverse systems and tools, driving workflow automation, and ensuring the reliability and stability of critical IT services in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

**Location: Montreal- Hybrid – onsite 2 times a week
** May consider other work locations, within proximity to a CGI offer, however, bilingualism is a must.
**Bilingualism: French and English is required

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage DevOps pipelines and workflows using Azure DevOps and AWS.
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Optimize monitoring and performance with tools such as Datadog and Autosys.
• Leverage expertise with Broadcom Autosys, MFT, and ServiceNow for file transfer, automation, and incident tracking.
• Manage and integrate platforms including Microsoft, Linux, SQL Server, IIS, and MQ Series.
• Develop and maintain Unix/KSH and SQL scripts for process automation and operations.
• Ensure system stability, reliability, and availability in a structured production environment.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to resolve operational challenges.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver continuous improvements and streamline workflows.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years in IT with 3+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud tools (Azure DevOps, AWS).
• Hands-on experience with automation platforms and tools like Autosys, Datadog, and ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of multi-platform environments including Microsoft, Linux, and database management systems.
• Bilingual ( French/English)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks; ITIL and AWS certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in hardware, storage, backups, and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of financial systems (e.g., Algo, Bloomberg, Minerva, Murex) and investment domains is an asset.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
